SATO RACING Rear Sets - BMW S1000RR 2015-16

SATO RACING Rear Sets for 2015-16 BMW S1000RR (part# BMW-S115RS) features a track-engineered and competition-proven design, with components precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum. Adjustable base plates and foot pegs provide 15 unique positions, ranging from near-stock position to more aggressive positions that bring your feet higher up and further back, so you can find the ideal position for your riding style. Shift linkage can be set up for stock shift pattern or reverse (GP-style) shift pattern. Choice of all-Black, or Silver or Gold anodized finish with contrasting Black base plates and shifter.

Options include an Exhaust Hanger Bracket (part# CANBT-BMW1) for use with stock or stock-positioned low mount exhausts. (not required if you have an aftermarket high mount exhaust).

Details:

• The Foot Pegs are fixed-type (non-folding) and have a finely knurled pattern for optimal grip, along with a comfortable, intuitive feel. Pegs have end caps made of protective black Delrin.

• Adjustable design provides 15 peg positions in a useful range for the street or track; The Foot Peg position is adjustable 5 ways, and the Step Plate has 3 possible mounting positions on the Base Plate. See Position Chart above for the adjustment range.

• The Pedal Tips (toe pegs) are made of tough, abrasion-resistant black Delrin, and are also adjustable.

• Components are precision CNC-machined out of light-weight, high strength anodized billet aluminum, and are fastened together with Stainless Steel bolts and hardware.

• The shift lever, shift link and brake use double miniature stainless bearings for smooth, precise movement with a solid feel.

• The double-ended shift pedal can be set up for either stock or reverse (GP-style) shift pattern. Compatible with the OEM quick-shifter.

• Rear Sets kit comes partly pre-assembled, and includes some basic instructions, but does not detail how to remove the stock foot controls. (Consult a shop manual). We recommend installation be performed by a certified mechanic.

• A small tube of threadlocker is included with the kit. (Any factory pre-tightened parts have already had threadlocker applied during assembly.)
