SCOTTS PERFORMANCE Top Mount / Mount Kit Only – Ktm 640 LC4 Adventure 2005–2008 – DM-5972-03

Due to the very limited space on this model, the standard Bolt-on kit for this model requires some modifications: First the 17mm spacers under the stock perches must be removed. If retaining the stock bar height is important, then we suggest you select the weld-on kit or the DT-SUB MOUNT kit which includes an upper triple clamp. The 17mm spacers prohibit the height for us to make a strong enough tower to reach that high. The steering lock box must be trimmed slightly as per instructions, but it remains functional. Must trim the back of Triple clamp to allow for pinch bolt clearance (easy mod). Most require counter boring the pinch bolt hole so the bolt goes in farther. We supply a button head bolt to help with this clearance. Most of the mods are simple but require patience to perform.
