MOTOGADGET mo.blaze ice

Cool as Ice! The mo.blaze ice is the special LED mounted turn signal from motogadget. A well-known attachment part was completely rethought, fazinierend designed and technically sophisticated implemented.

The mo.blaze ice appears very neutral and unobtrusive thanks to the transparent glass body, which is made of scratch-resistant plastic. The small aluminium base made of billet aluminium is available in black anodized or highly polished.

The blinker is suitable for all styles, paintwork and a wide variety of motorcycles. Thanks to motogadget's TranzLight® Technology (TLT, patent pending), the transparent body of the blinker itself becomes the lighting medium. TranzLight® Technology cleverly utilizes the total reflection of light waves. This progressive development approach is not limited to the simple miniaturization of blinker housings, but instead shapes the light directly via a crystal-like glass body. Only precise optical CAD calculations and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes make this new design and its function possible. The light flow required for the TranzLight® principle is generated by the IntensiLED® process developed by motogadget and consists of three important pillars:

• Specially selected, phosphor-converted high-performance LED with maximum efficiency and a total output of 3W with a service life of more than 50,000 hours
• An IC-controlled constant current source clocked at 330kHz
• A special collimator optic that couples the broadly scattering light of the LED precisely into the glass body

An important aspect of TranzLight® Technology is the added safety provided by the improved visibility of the flashing signal. The light is emitted at an angle of almost 180° and is therefore visible from the front, rear and side. The turn signal is mechanically decoupled from the mounting thread by means of a flexible absorber and is therefore protected against vibration and mechanical impact. Like any standard LED blinker, the blinker can be operated with load resistors or all our load-independent indicator relays (mo.flash, mo.wave, mo.stop, mo.relay+). The mo.blaze ice surface-mounted blinker presented here has an E-mark and is approved as a front and rear blinker.
