Captivating design, innovative adjustable system…… Given these two distinctive features, there would be no need to go any further to describe the new D1 Front Fairing, designed by Tamburini Corse, which represents the most exclusive and effective design ever realized for the Ducati Diavel. However, at Tamburini Corse it is not quite good enough. As always excellence is at the base of every single detail…reflecting our design philosophy. The entire support and adjustable structure of the D1 Front Fairing was obtained from the solid, using numerically controlled CNC machines, the best aluminium alloy deriving from aeronautics which, together with the adjustable system (the only one of its kind as far as type and technical characteristics), allows to carry out functional, precision settings. The aerodynamic study and design of the adjustable system have been supervised personally by Andrea Tamburini. The D1 Front Fairing guarantees an extremely high protection level in all speeds, eliminating annoying turbulence, which normally comes from the forefront of a vehicle, allowing for greater stability at high speeds as well as better handling. What makes the D1 Front Fairing absolutely unique is that it can be adjusted to several positions, making it currently the only one of its kind in the world. As a safety precaution, the adjustment of the D1 Front Fairing, (although accessible while in movement) must not be carried out while the vehicle is in movement in order to avoid rider distraction.
