We chose these Viton o-rings for the military spec suitability for exposure to high temperatures. Your engine's cylinder heads can operate as high as 380°F -- these o-rings are designed for the task. This ExactFit™ o-ring replaces OEM part number 93823.2018.
Viton is the transportation industry's top choice when it comes to fuel system sealing. Viton retains sealing force to prevent leaks even after compression for long periods in severe environments. After 100 hours in air at 150°C (302°F), Viton retains more than 90% of its original sealing force, while seals of nitrile retain 40%.
