*The crossbar on the stock 7/8" bars on the "L" and "RL" is low and will interfere with damper mounting in most cases. The crossbar can be bowed slightly to gain clearance. Other options are to purchase a different bend of 7/8" bars or convert to oversize bars. We offer a kit with oversize bar mounts included here on our website. The part number is DM-6764-OS. We also offer a large selection of oversize bars to complete your kit. Some "X" models may encounter the same clearance issues. **NEVER RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE WITH THE CROSSBAR REMOVED FROM ANY 7/8" HANDLE BARS. INNURY OR DEATH MAY OCCUR. Our mounting is compatible with the IMS fuel tank for this model.
