SCOTTS PERFORMANCE SUB Mount / Complete Stabilizer Kit / Rubber type / using stock triple clamps – Universal Applications – DS-SUB-6125-01R

This SUB mount kit fits the OEM Billet and Forged Triple clamps. All stock handlebar mounting components are removed and discarded from the OEM triple clamps, including rubber cone mounting bushings if equipped. Eliminating the Stock rubber bar cones decreases possible distortion in the event of a crash. The supplied Rubber SUB mount adapter will sit on top of our unique aluminum "solid" mounted bar cone system. MED and SOFT compound bushings are provided for individual preferences. This SUB mount kit will raise the bars 24mm in height and locates the bars in Position 2 / 7mm forward from stock. MED and SOFT compound bushings are provided for individual preferences. The new design frame bracket consists of three parts. on most models, installation is done without removing the top triple clamp. Models equipped with a factory steering lock will require the locking device to be removed as it will not clear the damper mounting components. Removal of the steering lock does require the triple clamp to be taken off and then re-installed. Step by step pictured instructions are included along with all the necessary hardware.
