The MWR Power-up filterkit for the Monster 696/796/1100S/1100EVO models is designed to create extra airflow , the inletopening from original airbox is not big enough to have max.power . Therefore MWR designed a power-up kit . You need to make some extra holes onto you airbox , below you can read how to do it with detailed foto’s Click on pictures to enlarge : 1) std airbox with cover 2) Stick a screwdriver between cover and airbox, break the cover loose from the airbox ( you need some force) 3) Cover removed 4) Make the holes with a dremel , stay on the inside of the sealing grooves 5) Install the MWR power-up filterkit with the included spacers and bolts This power-up kit functions as a full-fledged filter, so like all other MWR filters it needs the correct maintenance requirements. The MWR Performance Airfilter = excellent performance and max. protection . Not a copy of the original filter , always searching for solutions regarding performance , protection or fitment , some models therefore deviate from the original. Tuning like all other sportsfilters
