Viton's increased physical resistance to damage will help these last. Works with Yoyodyne aftermarket clutch slave as well as OE.
Viton is the transportation industry's top choice when it comes to fuel system sealing.
Viton retains sealing force to prevent leaks even after compression for long periods in severe environments. After 100 hours in air at 150°C (302°F), Viton retains more than 90% of its original sealing force, while seals of nitrile retain 40%. Buna/Nitrile is the least expensive most readily available material.
In depth: Max. Continuous Service Temperature:Viton: 204°C / 399°F
Buna/Nitrile: 121°C / 250°F
